Great Italian food casual atmosphere

Decent / good Italian food in the area. it also offers a unique opportunity for a nice sit-down dinner or a quick takeout dinner and it's two sections within the same restaurant which is nice. The dining in experience is great because of food food and staff. The takeout side is also great and it also provides a seating area similar to a pizzeria, if you're looking for a casual sit down. Everyone is nice and the food is usually very good and I usually recommend it for an Italian restaurant in the area. Pizza is good as well

I had the pleasant experience of ordering catered food from Tarantella’s for a small post pandemic party!! The food came to my house beautifully delivered by a very courteous young man , the food was absolutely delicious and was raved about by everyone , especially the anti pasta salad !!! I would like to thank Tarantellas for making my party a big hit and would recommend without question dining out or in when possible at this restaurant !! Gracias!!!

Good Italian food! We waited a long while to be served but it was worth the wait and price.

If I could give a zero I would! Celebrating an Anniversary I ordered dinner for 2 which was to be delivered. The order arrived missing the dessert, missing the side condiments, and small bread to dip in Francais sauce and as we are in a hotel utensils also were not included. The Bruschetta was a piece of Italian bread split with no seasoning just tomatoe and onion bits under barely melted cheese! Not as described on menu. Unfortunately the pasta was dry and straight out of the pot, flavorless, and chicken near plain.No Sauce, herbs or spices seen! No lemon! Plain! Basically Floured Chicken! The Broccoli Rabe with Sausage needed the side condiments ordered BUT DIDNT ARRIVE at delivery. NOT WHAT WE ORDERED. Just awful. I did try to talk to the restaurant directly and voiced concerns to Manager. She said it was human error and basically my problem! Just contested charge with my bank! Will NEVER order anything here again! The Manager was rude, condescending and judgmental!

Roaches roaches roaches... has anyone experienced the roaches? I have and will never be back, what a nasty place.. time to clean up your act.. and best part is they would not pick up the check even after bringing it to there attention, something they are well aware of.. bad business.. just greed.. some things never change, same dirty place that it was 15 years ago.. and the best part is its not even authentic italian food.. i dont get all the five star reviews as it is just pizzeria style food in a bland sauce.. try a real italian restaurant you will be much happier you did.. and for the people who continue to go, open your eyes you may just see some of those critters.. yum

The food and the staff are amazing. One of my favorite places to eat in NJ. The wait staff is super friendly and efficient. The Caeser salad is to die for it is so good!!! I recommend the Sparta. Love it here! Never had a bad experience.

Excellent Itailan eatery located conveniently in Clark, NJ. Highly recommend the mozzarella sticks and eggplant parm.

Great place. Large bar area, nice dining area, and a Pizzeria section. Food is awesome. We love the pasta dishes. Wheat linguini and gluten free options. Excellent sea food choices. Love the sangria made in house. Pizza is thin crust, NY style. Service is usually top notch. Takeout available. Plenty of free parking.

Only ever had pizza here. Really good. A toss up between here and Gennaro's in Westfield. I enjoy them both. Convenient location easy parking. Friendly staff

We finally made it here after saying for years we'd check it out. We didnt know what to expect but the place, for the most part, exceeded our expectations.When we walked in the restaurant it was about half full around 530pm, but with twenty minutes it was completely booked with about a 20 person line. Judging by the crowd it seems to be a lot of regulars as the friendly waiters were serving people they knew by name. We ordered a pizza for the kids, the veal parm special and the cavetelli with broccoli. Both were good but they may have used just a tad too much oil for the cavetelli as it was quite messy. The pizza was well made. If youre looking for a friendly neighbourhood Italian pizza restaurant i would definitely check them out. I will be back.

My wife and I ordered takeout our 1st night home from having our baby. We were just looking for comfort food but were pleasantly surprised to have found this gem. We ordered shrimp scampi and chicken parm entrees. The thought and love put into those dishes was amazing. Just from the fresh garlic to the perfect pastas it was what the doctor ordered. Bravo! We're looking forward to our 1st date night and many family night dinners here in the future.

Delicious, fresh Italian food. Menu has a big selection. Service was great! Owner came to table. Atmosphere was relaxing. Will definitely return!

Use to be an average pizzeria, but the dinners have vastly improved and quality of the meals have gotten better.

The food is great. Their service matches the food. The only thing I noticed is that the location of the restrooms is on the way of high traffic areas. My kids and I almost bumped 2 times with some folks from the staff at least each time we go to the restroom.

I stopped in on Christmas Eve to order dinner to go for my family. The place was packed and I was nervous I was going to be turned away or told it would be an hour for togo but I was so surprised when the girl working the register was so friendly and patient as I decided what I wanted to order. Every person I encountered that worked there was so pleasant and accommodating. I waited at the bar and had a drink and my order was ready in 20 minutes! The food was delicious and this will be our new go to Italian place!

Went for a repass meal. Staff was accommodating and super nice. Food was delicious. Restaurant clean and bright. Wish I lived closer because it would go on my list of regular places to eat.

Ordered take out minestrone soup that I love!!! When I got home there were no potatoes in the soup which is the best part!! Lots of celery , carrots and onions.. next time I’ll mention to please add all the vegetables... love all the dishes but every one nice in awhile soup disappoints... still delicious!!

Hometown pizzeria in the front, sit down restaurant in the back. Better than most in both cases. Hubby had a veal special and I enjoyed meat ravioli. Good bread was served gratis. The server was competent, polite, and efficient.

Picked up 3 take-out dinners yesterday from Tarantella’s in Clark, and the food was perfect - fresh and delicious. The staff was very helpful from the person taking my phone in order to them coming out promptly and putting the food into my car trunk when I arrived. Definitely recommend and are enjoying picking up food and social distance eating outside together with friends and family.

Our shrimp and veal parms were delicious! Loved the house dressing and my grandson liked his chicken parm sand with the seasoned fries.

I loved everything about this place makes me think of my childhood

The decor of this place is dated but the food is phenomenal. And I wanted food!

The food and service is always good. I had the ravioli special tonight with vodka sauce and it was delicious. They make a really good vodka sauce. I will keep on coming back.
